Save Ukraine early Intervention Center Continues to educate young parents
One of the vital missions of our children’s centers is to provide optimal conditions for the growth and development of children. But also — to educate young parents. Recently, at the Save Ukraine Early Intervention Center in Irpin, parents had the opportunity to get answers to questions that often cause anxiety for new parents: how to introduce complementary foods after breastfeeding?
Olha Koval, a consultant from the International Medical Corps, shared practical tips on introducing complementary feeding and dispelled common fears and concerns regarding this process.
Educating young parents is an essential component of building a healthy and happy childhood. It is a part of our comprehensive “Save Ukraine Early Intervention” program. Training and consultations provide families with personalized recommendations tailored to the specific needs of their children. Support at this stage is crucial, as proper nutrition in early childhood lays the foundation for lifelong health.
The early intervention activities are part of the joint efforts between Save Ukraine and the city of Irpin to create a support system for children under 4 years old and their families. It aims to improve their quality of life. This model helps children with disabilities or developmental differences become independent while their families can live harmoniously.
We thank our partners from the International Medical Corps for supporting the organization of this meeting.
