Conference on deportation of children
We held a conference where we discussed the issue of the deportation of Ukrainian children to the territories controlled by the Russian Federation.
The event participants were the founder of the rescue network Save Ukraine Mykola Kuleba and 17-year-old Vladyslav Rudenko, whom our team with his mother Tatyana recently returned from Russia after a long deportation.
Mykola Kuleba told reporters about the 22 children we returned from Russian captivity during the 7th rescue mission. One of them was Vladyslav, who also shared his story of being in an enemy country and returning to Ukraine.
The occupiers forcibly sent the young man to study at the Naval Academy, where Vlad was repeatedly subjected to severe pressure and abuse due to his pro-Ukrainian position. The way home was also difficult because the boy had to go through humiliating FSB interrogations with a lie detector test and psychological torture.
Vladyslav’s story is one more irrefutable confirmation of Russia’s war crimes against Ukrainian children. And the mission of Save Ukraine is to return every child home, to create comfortable conditions for their rehabilitation. Moreover, document all committed crimes and do everything possible to bring all the guilty to justice before an international judgment.
