On Christmas Day, kids from our Hope and Healing Center in Gatne prepared a surprise for residents of Save Ukraine’s center for people with limited mobility.

Thanks to the fruitful work of the center’s director, Yulia Sydorenko, and her team, the children prepared a traditional Christmas performance with carols to bring a little light and warmth to the hearts of children and older adults who had to leave their homes due to war and found refuge in our center.

The performance was a big hit, and the genuine smiles mixed with tears on the audience’s faces were the most rewarding for the young actors.

The gift exchange at the end of the meeting was incredibly touching. In addition to their creative contributions, the young actors brought treats for the adults, who received snacks, and for the children, there were gingerbread, games, and stationery. In return, the little audience presented the young actors with drawings and toys that they had created with their own hands during sessions with a psychologist.
