Call to protect Ukrainian children in Washington, DC
Yesterday in Washington, DC, at the National Gathering for Prayer and Repentance, Save Ukraine`s co-founder Mykola Kuleba spoke on behalf of those whose voices are too often silenced: Ukrainian children, persecuted Christians, and families living under occupation.
Mykola spoke with gratitude to people in the United States and around the world who continue to stand with Ukraine. He spoke about faith leaders and civilians who face daily pressure, intimidation, and persecution in occupied territories simply for who they are and what they believe. And he spoke about Ukrainian children who have been abducted and separated from their families, children who need more than words of concern. They need to come home, to heal from trauma, to reclaim their childhood, identity, and dignity.
This is not a distant or abstract crisis. These are real children. Real families. Real lives shaped by decisions being made right now.
At Save Ukraine, our teams work every day to turn advocacy into action. We locate children, support families, and help bring boys and girls back to safety, care, and recovery. This is what partnership, leadership, and responsibility look like when children’s rights are at stake.
Thank you to everyone who continues to speak up, advocate, and act. Ukrainian children deserve protection, and they deserve to come home. 🇺🇦
