Art therapy: restoring hope for Ukraine’s children
“Here, I can sleep and not be afraid,” said 10-year-old Serhiyko, holding a house drawing during the first art therapy session. After the trauma of forced deportation, rebuilding trust in the world is essential. Art therapy is the first step toward healing for Serhiyko and hundreds of children like him.
Art therapy is more than creative expression. It provides a safe way to process pain, share what words cannot, and begin recovery.
At Save Ukraine’s Hope and Healing Centers, over 300 children have received support. Each session brings calm, balance, and renewed trust in life.
