Save Ukraine Hosted Art Therapy Session for Early Intervention Psychologists
At Save Ukraine, we recently held a special art therapy session for the psychologists involved in our Early Intervention Program.
Our team members who work with children aged 0 to 4 took part in this resource-focused session, which served as a safe and restorative space. It offered an opportunity to talk about professional burnout, share personal experiences, create art, and craft protective art talismans—visual reminders that say: “You are not alone.”
We deeply understand that those who support others need support too—especially professionals working daily with very young children who have experienced occupation, displacement, or trauma. That’s why we care not only about the families we serve, but also about the dedicated team that stands beside them.

We are grateful to the Government of the Netherlands (represented by the Ambassador of the Netherlands) and to our collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands for supporting the creation of a space where children can grow and parents receive the care they need.
