Another graduation at the Save Ukraine Community Center
At the day center in Hostomel, a special graduation ceremony was held for two groups of children who participated in a program designed to recover educational losses. It marks an important milestone for 3rd and 4th-grade school children who not only caught up with their academic curriculum but also experienced many joyful and memorable moments!
The children attended 32 sessions in Ukrainian language and mathematics, received psychosocial support, and engaged in creative activities, games, and sessions with a psychologist. Meanwhile, the center’s team conducted informational sessions for parents on essential topics related to children’s upbringing and development. A new round of the program is starting soon, welcoming school children from 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.
The project, “Safe Access to Equitable and Inclusive Education in Ukraine,” funded by the European Union and supported by World Vision, provides free mathematics and Ukrainian language lessons to help children regain lost knowledge. Sessions are available in Irpin, Hatne, Hostomel, Kyiv, Korostyshiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Yuzhne, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv.
