Seven more children returned from temporary occupation
This week, thanks to the efforts of Save Ukraine as a part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, another seven children safely returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Crimea.
Among the returned is three-year-old Anya, who faced threats from the occupiers. Russians attempted to take her away from her mother, Maryna. They also pressured Maryna to sign Russian documents, subjected her to interrogations, and restricted her access to social media. Eventually, Maryna managed to escape with her daughter, although she still feels the shadows of occupation lingering around her.
Ludmyla and her 14-year-old son Yehor also faced tremendous challenges during their return. Ludmyla survived shelling at work and received threats from the occupiers to destroy her Ukrainian passport and kill her.
We extend our gratitude to our partners WeAreAllUkrainians, Ron Wahid, Humanity Foundation, and everyone who supports a mission to bring children back home.
Together, we are helping Ukrainian families find safety and peace!
