An international delegation visited our centers to support war-affected families
Last week, one of the Save Ukraine centers welcomed important guests who care about the fate of Ukraine. Among them are former congressman David Bonior, Catholic priest Father Peter Daly, psychiatrist and professor Eric Trupin, Ukrainian Catholic University professor Bob Wood, education advocate and innovator Brian Brady, lawyer and Ukrainian activist Emilia Rutkovska, and professor and Ukrainian activist Vincent Artman.
During the visit, the delegation visited our Art Therapy Center and the Family’s Center. They talked with children who survived the Russian deportation. Rostyslav and Daiana told distinguished guests their stories of forced displacement and return to Ukraine.
The strategic session with our psychologists was valuable. During the session, the participants discussed the problem of the abduction of Ukrainian children by Russia, the possible consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war, as well as ways to improve trauma therapy in our centers. Members of the delegation, impressed by the visit to our center, expressed their readiness to spread information about our activities in their circles.
We sincerely thank our guests for their support and attention to an essential topic for us.
