A Christmas miracle created by children
✨ A cozy room, a table filled with paints, toys, and children focused on decorating holiday ornaments. It is the warm, festive atmosphere we created during the Christmas Tale session at our Hope and Healing Center in Hatne.
For some, paints and brushes are just ordinary things. But for children who have endured the horrors of war, they are tools that help them dive into creativity, process their challenging experiences, and rediscover feelings of hope, joy, and peace. Through painting, they express their dreams and wishes, reconnecting with their childhood and envisioning a brighter future.
Our psychologists, Olena Kramarenko, and Svitlana Borsuk, helped the children create their celebration, where every ornament symbolized faith in a better tomorrow. Art provides these children with a way to express feelings they can’t put into words. And we’re here to show them that Christmas can still bring joy, even amidst war.
🎨 Let’s support our children together. Miracles can be created every day.
