100 organizations for change in the interests of children
Save Ukraine has joined the Platform for Public Sector Interaction in the Interests of Children — a space for cooperation that unites international, national and local organizations to implement the Strategy for Ensuring the Right of Every Child in Ukraine to Grow Up in a Family Environment (2024–2028).
This is more than just signing a declaration — it’s a commitment to responsibility, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support.
The Platform offers:
🟡 Coordinated efforts at national, regional, and local levels
🟡 Exchange of proven, effective practices
🟡 Access to resources and training for organizations
🟡 Value-based partnerships
Save Ukraine is a team of over 200 people working every day toward one goal: to ensure every Ukrainian child feels safe and has the chance to experience a happy childhood. We work closely with the government, communities, NGOs, and local churches. Together, we bring children back from occupied territories and active war zones — preventing deportation and family separation.
Each rescued child carries a unique and often painful story. Our priority is to help them rediscover a world without fear. That’s why we apply a case management approach — a tailored recovery model that supports both the child and their family before and after return. We are ready to share this experience so that more people across Ukraine can help children heal from the trauma of war.
“Ukraine’s future belongs to happy children raised in truly nurturing family environments — where they are free in thought and responsible in action,” — said Ivanna Kozhushok-Lytvynova, legal advisor at Save Ukraine.
The Platform is implemented by the Coordination Center for the Development of Family-Based Care in cooperation with UNICEF Ukraine, within the framework of the SPIRIT project, with financial support from the British Embassy Kyiv and the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
