10 Ukrainian children were rescued from temporary occupation last week
Our little ones are home! Ten children from three families have been rescued from the Russian occupation by the Save Ukraine team together with Bring Kids Back UA. These are children from the south of Ukraine. Among them are two orphans and two have a father who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
One of the rescued families was threatened by the Russians to take away their 5 children when they found out that they did not attend propaganda lessons in local schools. The parents were even brought to the police despite the “crime” being the desire not to have their children attend a Russian school. One day, the Russians came to their home and took away the Ukrainian passports of her father and older brother. The daughter was very afraid that they would be taken to the Russian army. Luckily, the family is now safe.
We also helped to return two brothers, aged 6 and 8, who had not seen their mother for 2.5 years. Shortly before the start of the full-scale war, their pregnant mother went to give birth to her daughter in a maternity hospital in the city while her sons stayed with their grandparents in the village. However, the full-scale invasion separated the family for a long time. The difficulty of rescuing these children was that their father serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and these children were wanted by the Russian Federation.
Thankfully, the family has now reconciled and is in safety!
We continue our mission to save all Ukrainian children from the cunning Russian aggressor. To prevent potential deportations of Ukrainian kids, we do everything in our power to rescue children who currently remain in the temporarily occupied territories.
We sincerely thank our partners We Are All Ukrainians, Ron Wahid, Humanity Foundation and everyone who helps to search, rescue and restore a free life for our Ukrainian children. Now the families are safe and very happy to be free at last!
