Project Objective
The primary objective of the "Early Intervention" project is to establish a sustainable and comprehensive early intervention system in Irpin that supports the developmental needs of children under 4 years old who are at risk of or have been diagnosed with developmental delays or disabilities. The project aims to enhance the quality of life for these children and their parents by:
- Providing timely, tailored support
- Empowering families with necessary knowledge and resources
- Promoting social inclusion
- Reducing stigmatization within the community
Through a multidisciplinary approach and close collaboration with local authorities and donor organizations, the project seeks to ensure the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of early intervention services, contributing to the broader reconstruction and social resilience efforts in Ukraine.

The “Early Intervention” project supports children under 4 years old in Irpin and surrounding areas who are at risk of or have been diagnosed with developmental delays or disabilities. The project offers:
- Regular developmental screenings
- Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
- Therapeutic services including speech, physical, occupational, and behavioral therapy
- Parent and caregiver education and resources
- Home-based support services
The project employs a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring collaboration among healthcare providers, educators, and social workers to deliver holistic care. This initiative contributes to the broader goal of social inclusion and improved quality of life for vulnerable children in the region, IDPs, and nearby communities.

- No official State Standard for Early Intervention

Target Groups
Target Groups
The project focuses on children from birth to 3 years old, specifically including families with children who:
- Have been diagnosed with developmental delays or specific conditions (motor impairments, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, epilepsy, etc.)
- Show delays in cognitive, motor, social-emotional, or communication development
- Are at risk of developmental disorders due to biological or social factors
- Have experienced traumatic events affecting development
- Have parents with concerns regarding their child’s development or behavior
